Spates Fabricators was founded by Tom and David Spates in 1976. They built the business around strong principles of honesty, quality products and customer service. Spates Fabricators builds wood roof and floor trusses for the Residential and Commercial building industry of Southern California, and specializes in tract housing.

In addition to our primary focus of building trusses, our company believes strongly in involvement and contribution to our local businesses and communities. Spates Fabricators makes a difference in the community around us by supporting local churches, schools, and charitable organizations.

An experienced design team prepares truss packages for customers using Alpine Engineering's VIEW software program. Spates is proud of a 25 year relationship with Alpine - not only as our software provider but also our source for truss plates. An internal support team assists with the breakdown details and other refinements to the truss packages and quotes. Management then reviews the final package again before it goes out to the customer, ensuring the accuracy and quality of Spates Fabricators products.
